Topic Started: Sunday Apr 26 2009, 08:31 AM (48 Views)
Hi guys , my name is Barry and I live in Manchester UK . I'm 46yrs old and ride a HYO GT650R I bought my Hyo 18 months ago and I absolutely love . I'll post some pics when I suss out how to LOL I've not changed much on the bike yet , just added a Tankpad , Yoke Protector , Wheel Rim Tape and changed the indcators for LED's with Greggs Custom Flush Mounts and Mirrors with built-in Indicators up front . In truth I probably won't do anything else as I like the look of the bike as it is .
Welcome Barry!! Glad you found us! There are many Hyosung owners here who feel the same way you do. I'm sure they'll be around to welcome you soon too. Great bike, and can't wait to see your pictures and custom adds.! You will find that you won't be able to stop customizing your bike after you look around here a bit! There are so many great ideas, resources, and help from our knowledgeable staff. Just ask, we're glad to help. Since this is your first post and you are just becoming familiar with the forum, here is some information that will help.
Welcome to the new home of PIWYR.com
There are a couple of key areas we want to be sure you have read.
We have a forum catagory devoted to the more photo/video intensive topics so please use that area for MOST photo/video postings. On other boards please limit the pics to only 2 per post. This is so our members with dial-up connections can avoid those areas that will not load as quick as the areas with less pics.
PS. Images are auto resized here at the forum to fit the posting area so no more concerns about your photos being to big to fit the boards.
THE 3 WAYS TO POST PICS.
1. PHOTOBUCKET Below the posting box is the PIWYRMEMBERS iframed account. If your pic is already hosted there just scoll to your section and copy the [IMG] of the pic you want to your post.
To use your photobucket account just scroll to the right and either use the search to locate it or sign in using your persomal info.
You can also open PHOTOBUCKET in a new window by clicking the NOW button at the top of the page then sign in.
2. IMAGESHACK This is the box right below the photobucket account is an IMAGESHACK uploader. Use this to host a pic directly from your computer. Click the ''Brouse'' to access your files, select the image you want to post and then click '' host it ! button. This will give you two different ways to show your pic. 1. a mini clickable pic select the code for FORUM 1 2. reg. size, scroll to the bottom and select the first one listed.
3. FILE ATTACHMENT This is being hosted directly here at the site. The first member group that can use this feature is the Cool Member group (10-99 posts) This group is limited to using this feature to the DOWNLOAD forum (Service-Parts-Owners manuals pdf files) To be able to use this method on all the boards you need to be a member of the Advanced Member group. To become a member of this group you will need 100 posts. (members already with this # of posts from the old PIWYR invisionfree site are manually moved to this group)
NOTE: At this time the files downloaded here are only a clickable link. They will in the future be made to show up as a mini clickable pic just like imageshack does.
Just like this post uses the SPOILER tag use it also on posts of more then 2 photos.
