I live in Charlottesville, VA, and just took the MSF course in Richmond last weekend. I've been riding an Eton 49cc scooter for about 2 years, and recently decided to take the course to see what it feels like on a motorcycle. I'm pretty psyched right now, and don't know anything about brands and models, but a dealer recently mentioned Hyosung to me, and have been reading some pretty great things, particularly about the GV650 cruiser - so I wanted to see what some riders are saying about that and others. Hope to talk with you soon!

Lots of Hyo riders are members here... huummm... going from a 50cc to the Hyo GV650 ?? be very careful as this 650cc has the power of many 1000cc+ motorcycles !! Would really suggest you look closer at the Hyo GV250 or the Kymco Venox 250 (like pops and I have) ... both have PLENTY of power to get you into trouble..50%+ more hp then the traditional 250's (like Honda Rebel 18hp , these are 28hp+...)

The GV650 is a really nice bike. I would agree with obx on going to a 250 first. Either of the bike he stated are great bikes as well. I would be partial to the Venox. Seeing as I own one.
	Mojo75 aka. Scott Republic of Texas mojo's mods :HEREITIS: Spoiler: click to toggle Well I though it about time to show what I have done so far. First was a fork bag and a pair of saddle bags. I didnt have any supports but felt comfortable for awhile that they wouldnt get caught on anything. Next I added a Memphis Shades Classic Duece Windshield. I lucked out and got that one off of Ebay. Next I put on a pair of Kuryakan Large Iso pegs. With a Honda adapter for the Gold Wing. It gave me a little mor leg room. I really like this set up. Just wish I could find someforward controls. Might be the only thing better. Next it was time for the 43t sprocket kit. This is probably the best mod so far. Well my saddlebags started to droop. So I decided it was time to find some kind of supports. I ordered some off of Ebay. They are made for the Honda Magna 250. While not perfect they do fit and work. I also decided to get a sissy bar so I can have the option of a bag there as well. I had to use pieces from both kits to make it work, but it was pretty straight forward. So ther you have it.
