I met with Ashley Mayhew today September 14, 2008. He owns a 2007 Hyosung GV650 with following mods: AIS Block off, disconnected carbon canister, after market grips, Hyo back rest and Hyo luggage rack. He is a member of ACD and just recently joined the PRIDE. We both got our rides from Cycle Dragons in Cerritos where they deal with Hyosungs and Victory motorcycles. It was a nice day, slightly warm but not bad. We started our ride going to..... MORE HERE: Spoiler: click to toggle ..... "The Look Out" at Ortega Hwy in Lake Elsinore. We started from my house then Bundy Canyon road then proceeded to head west bound on Bundy all the way to Mission Trail. We then proceeded to go north on Mission Trail then west on Corydon where it T's of with Grand Ave. North bound on Grand a few miles and we hit Hwy 74 "aka" Ortega Highway. For those people that have ridden on this highway will know how much fun and beautiful the first few miles going up the hill is. We scraped pegs going up the hill until we reached the look out. We stopped at the look out for a break and to get a good look-see of the view. This was Ash's first time there. I then took Ash to go see Hell's Kitchen on Ortega Hwy This was an interesting sign: Instead of continuing on Ortega Hwy we headed towards Railroad Canyon so I could show Ash this nice long road "Sage road" with several nice turns that you can scrape your pegs on. There were very few cars and we almost had the whole 30+/- mile stretch to ourselves. It was almost 2:30pm and I had not had lunch...so we decided to take a break and have something to eat. I took Ash to Richie's Diner in Temecula. We both ordered their BBQ Bacon dog -whew they were messy eats, but yummy non the less :D . From Richie's Diner we went west on Highway 79 towards Front Street. We proceeded to go north on Front Street and road through "Old Town" in Temecula . Front street turned in to Jefferson which we took all the way to Nutmeg where we turned west bound. Nutmeg crosses Palomar which we took north bound. There is a nice semi-long sweep where Palomar transitions to Mission trail...unfortunately there were a few slo-moe's driving on it today. Mission trail meets up with Bundy Canyon which ended our run about today. We clocked around 120+/- miles, add another 100+/- for Ash since he rode all the way from Cerritos to meet up with me today. It was interesting enough to see people look at one GV650 let alone 2 of them side by side. Hell's kitchen had people coming over to check out the GV's. Interestingly enough that several of them have heard of the bike. Also forgot to mention - we met a guy that is a member of ACD and a lurker of PIWYR at "The Look Out". His wife owns a GV250 and he rides a Suzi SV650. He said he was, as soon as his wife gets comfortable riding, going to upgrade to the GV650 as well.

Murs...so what does the Venox need putting back together exactly? Is it in major state of disassembly?
