Overview: Hyosung GT650R Motorcycle

The Korean company Hyosung are not known for their comprehensive documentation; more like Korean text translated by Google Translator into English. But they are known for producing reasonable motorcycles at very affordable prices, in other words, ideal motorcycles for the novice with a limited budget.

The Hyosung GT650R street motorcycle is a prime example of an affordable and "easy" motorcycle. Though until recently, the GT650 had to contend with carburetors, in the 2009 line-up, the Hyosung GT650R is now equipped with fuel injection.

The fuel injection now also gives the motorcycle an immobilizer function, ideal for leaving your motorcycle alone for a few minutes.

Other changes involve the heightening of the rider's seat by 30mm plus some cosmetic changes.

:HAPPYRIDER: Thats one good looking bike with enough new features to make it a serious contender. Besides fuel injection the radial mounted "4" piston brake calipers and a riders seat shaped the same as the Triumph 675 Daytona, like I said that is one good looking bike. The best part is that it shows that Hyosung is dedicated towards developing the current line up into better motorcycles, which means in the long term a better supply of parts for the future. Plus the benefit of being able to retrofit the newer components makes life more interesting, I want that front end on my GV650. :666:

nice, but not sure "heightening of the rider's seat by 30mm" is a good thing, some of us have short legs (although not as short as our LAN team manager at work - she can't flat-foot a GV650)
Most of my rides are blue, grey and white are shades of blue aren't they?

 Cant flat foot a GV650, I didnt think that would be possible. I would like to see that, she would have to be fairly short in the leg department not to be able to do that. You should post a photo of that one Icedog as I cant imagine anyone not being able to do that, no matter how small they are. :666:

well, she can get ONE foot flat on the ground, just that the other is treading air :666: I suggested she get a Piaggio MP3 'cause you don't have to put your feet down at all. :SCOOTER:

Unfortunately it was hard enough to get her to try the sit test once, I think I've got 2 chances of getting her to sit again especially with a camera around. :LOL2:
